As the research community and decision-makers worldwide respond to the coronavirus pandemic, the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the Science family of journals are working tirelessly to provide credible, evidence-based information and bring you the latest research and commentary. Complimentary access to COVID-19 related content continues to be available.

Additionally, we are locking in 2020 prices for the 2021 rate year for existing online subscriptions to the Science family of journals. This change is intended to aid our current online subscribers who may be experiencing budgetary issues during this challenging time.

Because usage may be inconsistent during this time period, librarians who analyze usage from this period may see atypical usage. For corporate customers who are on usage-based pricing, 2021 renewals will be based on 2018 usage, effectively freezing 2020 pricing for all our subscribers, regardless of the type of library.

It is our deepest hope that this change, in addition to the complementary access to COVID news and research, is of aid to libraries and their patrons around the world during these unprecedented times.
